KC Turner has been presenting house concerts throughout the Bay Area since 2007. House concerts are for live music fans who love to listen and connect with a performer. It isn't a "party", it's an intimate gathering to experience a special event of live music.
Over the years KC has hosted dozens of house concerts with new touring artist and some house hold names such as Matt Nathanson, Bob Schneider, Ben Kweller, Steve Poltz, Griffin House, Sean Hayes, The Mother Hips, Peter Case, Hot Buttered Rum, John Vanderslice, Matt The Electrician, Glen Phillips, Jon Dee Graham, Chuck Prophet, Garrison Starr, Tim & Nicki Bluhm, Freedy Johnston, Nataly Dawn, Susan Cowsill, Emily Elbert, Adam Levy, Tom Freund, David Berkeley, Vienna Teng, Alex Wong, Amber Rubarth, Billy Harvey, Danny Schmidt, Jerry Hannan, John Craigie, Nick Jaina, Megan Slankard, Heather Combs, Natalia Zukerman, Adrianne Gonzalez and many more.
KC is not only the promoter of these house concerts, he also sets up and breaks down each and every show. Believe it or not, all these chairs fit in his little car. If a sound system is required, he brings and runs that too!
The size of the audience has ranged from 20 to 100 people. Most house concerts are held in actual living rooms, but not limited to backyards and art studios. KC is constantly searching for more unique "venues" for his house concert series. If you think you have a great space contact KC!
