Hi my name is KC. Yes, just the 2 letters and not initials, it makes no grammatical sense. So who the hell am I? I am nobody, but I do write and play out my own music. I love writing songs and the creation process involved. Sharing music and entertaining people is something that makes me really happy. It just feels right.
I am 26 and live in Marin County, just North of San Francisco. I moved to the San Francisco bay area in Oct. 2005 from my home in Columbia Missouri. It has been one of the best choices of my life! The bay area is a fantastic place to live and it has a local music scene that is just simply amazing. There are so many fantastic independent musicians out here and I am privileged to call so many of them my friends.
In an effort to bring fabulous independent music to people, I host a house concert series. You can see it listed in my schedule as: "KC Turner House Concert Series"...House concerts are special because they are such an intimate live music experience. There really is nothing better than hearing good music unplugged in a living room. It is also a great way to meet new people and make friends.

In addition to hosting house concerts, I also host a weekly open mic in Novato at a pub called Finnegan's Marin. We are there every Monday night. My above calendar will reflect the featured performers that I book every week. We get some crazy crazy good music in that place on Monday's. Please come by sometime and join us. Such a great bunch of people! It starts @ 8pm.

In addition to that, I am also a photographer. I shoot everything (with a camera), but recently have been getting into shooting bands and live music (again, with a camera).
